New Session of BABY DRIVER with Edgar Wright in Melbourne Announced!
MELBOURNE, THIS IS NOT A DRILL!
After a record sell-out of Cinema Nova’s Q&A screening of BABY DRIVER with Edgar Wright last week. Sony Pictures have announced another screening of BABY DRIVER with Edgar Wright & Ansel Elgort in person, this time at Village Cinemas Jam Factory on the evening of Thursday July 13th at 6pm.
Tickets are on sale via the Village Cinemas website from tomorrow, Wednesday July 5th at 12:00pm AEST. For more details click here!
Edgar Wright, director of HOT FUZZ and SHAUN OF THE DEAD, returns with a full-throttle caper that is equal parts car chase thriller, tender love story, and toe-tapping, singalong musical.
Baby (Ansel Elgort) is a talented getaway driver working for a band of thieves masterminded by the shady Doc (Kevin Spacey). Due to the permanent hearing damage that he has had since a car crash in childhood that killed his parents, Baby listens to music to drown out the constant ringing in his ears, and it’s his pumping personal soundtrack that contributes to his status as the best driver in the game. But when Baby meets the woman of his dreams in waitress Deborah (Lily James), he begins to contemplate a clean break from crime, especially as a new heist on the horizon threatens to overturn his life, love and freedom.
Co-starring Jon Hamm and Jamie Foxx, BABY DRIVER is a gleefully excessive ride that aims more than anything for its audience have a rip-roaring good time at the cinema, with a dream soundtrack to match.
BABY DRIVER opens in cinemas across Australia on Thursday July 13th.
