The latest project from award-winning filmmaker Heidi Lee Douglas (LITTLE LAMB, DEFENDANT 5) is an environmental come body-horror that follows a woman’s transformation after being bitten by a Tasmanian Devil. Having already reached in excess of its AUD$10,000 goal, the project has one day remaining on Pozible and any additional backing will go toward upping the production value to increase the chances of wider distribution. Following the recent announcement of YULETIDE TERROR: CHRISTMAS HORROR ON FILM AND TELEVISION, Canadian micro-publishing powerhouse, Spectacular Optical have announced another book for 2017, LOST GIRLS: THE PHANTASMAGORICAL CINEMA OF JEAN ROLLIN! With over fifty films to his credit, French genre filmmaker Jean Rollin left quite a legacy in cinema and LOST GIRLS examines that through a collection of essays penned by female critics, scholars and film historians. Similar to DEVIL WOMAN, LOST GIRLS’ IndieGoGo campaign has already reached in excess of its USD$12,000 funding goal but they’ve added a stretch goal of USD$16,000 that will enable an additional 40 pages of full colour imagery to be added to the book.
