Cinema Fiasco is a comedy show showcasing what some may consider to be bad movies on the big screen with hilarious live commentary by film buff comedians Geoff Wallis and Janet A. McLeod. The movie plays as per usual with the soundtrack intact, Geoff and Janet just chip in at salient points. Sounds fun? It is. Bad movies are a guilty pleasure and one that should never be enjoyed alone. You’ll laugh! You’ll scream! You’ll wonder who put up the money to make this crap. But best of all you’ll realise how important nudity, explosions and gorilla suits are to the world of cinema. And what a joyful sight to behold they are.
KINGDOM OF THE SPIDERS
It just isn’t safe to live in Small Town America. If you’re not being invaded by aliens from outer space you can bet your boots something else is on its way and in this movie it’s hordes of toxic tarantulas. When cows start dropping dead heroic veterinarian William Shatner and sexy scientist Tiffany Bolling attempt to stop the horrible hairy menace from biting people and cocooning the entire town in sticky webs. A great fun movie with dialogue to die for (“This is our home and no damn spiders are gonna run us out!”) and Shatner delivering the goods as only he can.
