Cult Filmmaker Albert Pyun to Visit Australia for Premiere of INTERSTELLAR CIVIL WAR!

06 March 2017

With over forty features to his credit, filmmaker Albert Pyun is as legendary as he is prolific. Having directed a vast range of films from the seminal 1982 sword and sandal epic THE SWORD AND THE SORCERER to his 2008 spiritual sequel to STREETS OF FIRE, ROAD TO HELL, Pyun will visit Australia this April to premiere his latest, INTERSTELLAR CIVIL WAR.

INTERSTELLAR CIVIL WAR follows the Imperial Empire as it’s attacked by an Alliance of rebels led by fanatical mystics. The ruler, Empress Nobu, the 8th generation of her family, wants to execute a bold plan to rescue a cyborg.
The Australian premiere will take place at Melbourne’s The Astor Theatre on Monday April 10th, less than a month after its world premiere at the HORRORHOUND FILM FESTIVAL in Cinncinati, Ohio. INTERSTELLAR CIVIL WAR will followed on the night by a retrospective screening of Pyun’s 1989 classic sci-fi actioner CYBORG.

Kudos to Glenn Cochrane of FakeShemp.Net for helping to facilitate Pyun’s first trip down under. Tickets are now on sale.
